This year Baladria Summer School in Digital Humanities, is awarding credits and taking place both online and in Zadar. Programme is organized within the 5 ECTS course Methods for Digital Humanities, held at Linnaeus University, Sweden.
Most teaching is conducted online using the current online teaching platform with obligatory one week of in-person teaching at the University of Zadar in Croatia. Students will be responsible for arranging and covering travel and accommodations costs. Teaching comprises lectures and workshops.

There is no conference fee for students of Doctoral programme Knowledge society and information transfer.
Teaching is conducted blended, with obligatory one week of in-person teaching at the University of Zadar in Croatia, while the preparation part is conducted online using the teaching platform Merlin.
Students will be responsible for arranging and covering travel and accommodations costs.

The aim of Baladria Summer School in Digital Humanities 2026 is to learn about digital research methods to address research questions from the humanities. The participants will be able to get an insight into a range of the different digital methods used within digital humanities, as well as an awareness of difficulties related to the methods/tools within digital humanities projects. The School will cover several methods/tools, with participants engaging in hands-on activities and actively sharing their findings in active communication and discussions within participants and teachers. In the final project of the School, the student has the option to focus on specific digital methods and tools by working in teams supervised by teachers.
The participants are encouraged to prepare for the BALADRIA 2026 with a proposed list of readings which will be published soon.
