DASH students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

15-19 June 2026 \u2013 Zadar, Croatia<\/b><\/p>\n

There is no conference fee for DASH students.<\/p>\n

Teaching is conducted blended, with obligatory one week at the University of Zadar in Croatia, while the pre-Zadar week is conducted online using the Moodle teaching platform. After the Zadar week, there will be another online week for the final assignment, to be submitted via Moodle.<\/p>\n

During the Summer School, lunch will be provided for participants in the student restaurant at a discounted rate.\u00a0The cost of lunch is to be covered by the participants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The cost of sightseeing with a tourist guide is covered.<\/p>\n

The aim of Baladria Summer School in Digital Humanities 2026 is to learn about digital research methods to address research questions from the humanities. The participants will be able to get an insight into a range of the different digital methods used within digital humanities, as well as an awareness of difficulties related to the methods\/tools within digital humanities projects. The School will cover several methods\/tools, with participants engaging in hands-on activities and actively sharing their findings in active communication and discussions within participants and teachers. In the final project of the School, the student has the option to focus on specific digital methods and tools by working in teams supervised by teachers.<\/p>\n

The participants are encouraged to prepare for the BALADRIA 2026 with a proposed list of readings\u00a0which will be published soon.<\/p>\n

The Baladria Summer School has been initiated by the iInstitute (https:\/\/lnu.se\/en\/\/iinstitute<\/a>), Linnaeus University\u2019s iSchool (https:\/\/www.ischools.org<\/a>) affiliated with the Digital Transformation Knowledge Environment (https:\/\/lnu.se\/en\/meet-linnaeus-university\/knowledge-environments\/digital-transformations<\/a>), and is organized in collaboration with the Deparment of Information Sciences at the University of Zadar (https:\/\/www.unizd.hr\/eng<\/a>) and has been taking place since 2019.
