Travelling to Zadar
By car
Zadar has a favourable traffic position, which makes it accessible from all parts of Croatia. It is connected to Zagreb via the A1, the longest motorway in Croatia.
By bus
Intercity travel is usually done by bus and Zadar is well connected with all major Croatian cities. Up-to-date timetables are available on the Liburnija website.
By plane
Croatia’s main international airport is in Zagreb and many travellers fly to Zagreb first before connecting to other regions. Since Zadar Airport offers fewer scheduled flights, participants may find it most convenient to travel to Zadar by plane directly from Zagreb. By ferry
Zadar has two ferry ports, City Port (in the city centre) and Gaženica (located outside the city), and is well connected with nearby islands and several more distant destinations. Tickets are available through Jadrolinija.
Travelling from Zadar Airport
By bus
A Liburnija bus service connects Zadar Airport with the Gaženica ferry port, the Zadar Main Bus Station and the Peninsula, where the University of Zadar is located. Timetables can be found on the Zadar Airport website.
By car
After landing, travellers can hire a car (more information is available here), take a taxi (available directly outside the airport exit) or travel by car to Zadar centre.
Travelling from Zadar Main Bus Station
By public bus
City buses connect the Main Bus Station with various parts of Zadar. Up-to-date timetables are available on the Liburnija website.
By taxi or other service
Taxis are available directly next to the bus station.
On foot
Zadar Main Bus Station is located relatively close to the city centre and the University of Zadar (the conference venue), which makes most of the destinations accessible on foot, as well as by other common transport options such as bicycles, cars, taxis or public buses.

The Organizing Committee offers a list of recommended conference accommodation. Check the hotel suggestions below and book your conference accommodation in advance to secure the best available rates. Registered conference participants are kindly requested to book a hotel accommodation independently and in a timely manner.
