Fees and Registration

 

The conference fee for authors and co-authors that will participate at the conference is 150,00 EUR (VAT included). 

Fee for participants (authors/co-authors) includes:

  • attendance in conference sessions
  • conference materials
  • refreshment during breaks
  • travel costs for three field trips to neighboring islands
  • annual fee for an individual one-year membership to ISISA (International Small Islands Studies Association)
  • social dinner

All bank transaction costs are to be paid by the author/co-author.

The conference fee does not cover international or domestic travel costs to/from Croatia/Zadar, accommodation, and other incidentals (e.g., food and drink).

Co-authors who will not attend the conference do not have to pay the conference fee.

However, at least one co-author must pay the conference fee for their abstract to be included in the Book of Abstracts.

  • until April 15th, 2022

Registration for participants (authors/co-authors) is possible by the ONLINE FORM.

Important notes regarding registration fee

  • Each submitted abstract must have at least one author registered for the Conference (one participation fee has to be paid per each abstract accepted in the program).
  • If you wish to submit more than one abstract, each of the additional abstract must have at least one co-author, who is also registered for the conference.
  • In case you are single author, you can have maximum two abstracts included in the program with 1 registration.
  • Each participant attending the conference needs to pay the conference fee.
  • If the abstract has several co-authors, all co-authors that will attend the conference must be registered and pay Conference fee.
  • The number of submitted abstracts per author is limited to two (2).

Accompanying persons

We are offering a possibility for accompanying persons to participate in trips to the neighboring islands and social dinner:

  • Tuesday June 14th, 2022: Afternoon fieldtrip to the island of Pag – 20,00 EUR (VAT included)
  • Wednesday June 15th, 2022: Afternoon boat fieldtrip around island of Ugljan – 30,00 EUR (VAT included)
  • Wednesday June 15th, 2022: Social dinner at restaurant Barbakan – 25,00 EUR (VAT included)
  • Thursday June 16th, 2022: Boat fieldtrip to the island of Dugi otok – visit to Nature park Telašćica and settlement Sali on Dugi otok (lunch included), introductory presentation, panel with representatives of local community, Nature Park representatives and workshop for island children, return to Zadar – 45,00 EUR  (VAT included)

Accompanying person may choose between offered trips and dinner and pay in total amount. It is possible to choose one or more activities.

All bank transaction costs are to be paid by the accompanying person.

Registration:

  • from February 1st, 2022
  • until April 15th, 2022

Registration for the accompanying persons is possible by the ONLINE FORM.

Scholarships

We are offering a maximum of 12 individual scholarships of 500,00€ to encourage and support the participation of international postgraduate students at the conference.

The scholarships are funded by the ISISA association and the University of Zadar.

Students can apply for a scholarship after they receive a notification of abstract acceptance.

Deadline for applying the scholarship is extended until February 5th, 2022.
