About us
We are two researchers from Zadar and Belgrade working on issues of care, health, and wellbeing in our respective context. We came together during the pandemic participating in a zoom reading group on “Politics and Ethics of Care” organized by the SolidCare lab of Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory in Belgrade and have since then opened many questions for each other that lead us to organize this conference.
We see the conference as a step towards building a network of anthropologists working on the issues of care in the Balkans.
